INUDCTION
Potassium feldspar has the characteristics of low melting point (1150±20ºC), long melting interval time, high melting viscosity, widely used in ceramic billet, ceramic glaze, glass, electric porcelain, grinding materials and other industrial sectors and potassium fertilizer.
APPLICATION
1.
Ceramic body batching: feldspar can play the role of barren raw material before firing, reduce the drying shrinkage and deformation of the body, improve drying performance, shorten the drying time. It can be used as a flux to reduce the firing temperature, promote the melting of quartz and kaolin, and the mutual diffusion and penetration in the liquid phase to accelerate the formation of mullite. The feldspar vitreous formed in the melting is filled between the mullite grains of the blank body, which compacts the blank body and reduces the voids, thus improving its mechanical strength and dielectric properties. In addition, the generation of feldspar glass can also improve the light transmittance of the body. The amount of feldspar in the ceramic body varies with different raw materials and product requirements.

Glass flux: feldspar is one of the main components of glass mixture. Feldspar contains high Al2O3, low iron content, and easier to melt than alumina, not only low melting temperature and wide melting range, mainly used to improve the content of alumina in glass ingredients, reduce the melting temperature in glass production and increase the content of alkali, in order to reduce the amount of alkali. In addition, the process of feldspar melting into glass is relatively slow, small crystallization ability, can prevent the precipitation of crystals in the process of glass formation and damage to products. Feldspar can also be used to adjust the viscosity of glass. General all kinds of glass mixture with potassium feldspar or albite.

Ceramic glaze: ceramic glaze is mainly composed of feldspar, quartz and clay raw materials, among which feldspar content can reach 10-35%. In the ceramic industry (billet and glaze) is mainly used potassium feldspar.

Enamel raw materials: mainly mixed with feldspar and other mineral raw materials to form lang Lang. The incorporation of feldspar is usually 20 -- 30%.

Others: potassium feldspar can be used as raw material for extracting potassium fertilizer.
