APPLICATION
1.Application of calcite in fillers:
a. Rubber: calcite powder is used in the rubber industry as a compatibilizer, which can save the amount of natural rubber or synthetic rubber and reduce costs. The amount of calcite powder added is generally 10%-60%. Because of its good dispersion, it can be mixed with rubber, and other additives can be mixed together, which is conducive to improving the processing performance of rubber, playing a reinforcing or semi-reinforcing role, and adjusting the hardness of rubber. The quality requirements of calcite powder for rubber industry are :CaCO3>99%, the sieve amount (below 44um)0.2% oil absorption rate 70m1/100g.
b. Plastic: calcite powder as filler, its role is
(1) Improve the dimensional stability of plastic products;
(2) Improve the hardness and rigidity of plastics;
(3) Change the processing performance;
(4) Improve heat resistance, flame retardant and insulation;
